Christmas Present Idea for the Kids

Are the kids driving you crazy with their idea of music pumping out from your CD player? This Christmas treat them (and you) to a Radio CD Player of their own, that they will hopefully take to their room and save you from having to listen to their ‘music' any longer. Unfortunately, their room may need to be at some distance because some of these Radio CD Players can really pump out good quality sound. When I say good quality…….. well, you know what I mean. If it was playing your kind of music it would be good quality sound!

You can get all kinds of Radio CD Player", some will play MP3 and some have USB ports so you can play from your music library. Some have iPod docks too so you can access every area of your music. Okay, I know I've lost some of you there, but the kids will explain everything.

You need to do your homework a bit before you buy. Find out from your precious ones exactly what requirements they have and then start searching the net. There is nothing worse, than on Christmas morning, it's not the right one. You will get ‘but Dad, I TOLD you…..'and the sulking won't stop before Boxing Day.

If you truly value a ‘Happy Christmas' just stand by with your credit card and let them choose for themselves, just be prepared to pay over the odds because it's sure to be the most expensive one.

Tell yourself it will all be worth it in the end, instead of having to put up with their music it will be reduced to a mild thumping through the ceiling, which you can easily drown out with the TV!

However, a word of warning, beware the ‘Boom box'. A great sounding bit of kit, does the job perfectly, but you may die of embarrassment when your little darling hoists it on to his shoulder and starts walking round the neighbourhood with it blaring out at full steam. You'd never be able to face the neighbours again!

A Happy and Peaceful Christmas to you all.
