People spend hours awaiting during the Christmas season to catch the sizzling performances of the Radio City Rockettes. RCR have been showing their amazing skills for almost 80 years and every time we see their dance we feel them at the peak of new heights. The young and cheerful Rockettes amuse the impatient crowd with the incredible leg kicks and there may be very few American who haven’t heard the name Radio City Rockettes. Every year during Xmas and winter season these talk Rockettes show their magical dancing moves.
Winter 2010 season has almost started and so are the preparations of the Radio City Rockettes. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular will present its shows in which like previous years their each Rockette will perform three shows in a day. The heart of their dance is the "eye-high kicks, the standard dance move of the Radio City Rockettes and must for all 180 dancers to perform. During the Radio City shows Radio City Rockettes will collectively perform 300 eye-high kicks per show.
The hiring for the new Radio City Rockettes have been done and all new entrants are at least 18 and fall between 5’6” and 5’10”. These inspirational dancers are now drilling under the hat of Linda Haberman, the first female choreographer of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. She has introduced two new dancing moves for this year’s dance. You will see these Radio City Rockettes in beautiful clothes and tight high heels performing some of the world class dancing stunts. This year a 9 year old boy Logan Strand is also going to perform along with Rockette of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York.
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular show will start from the November 5th 2010 and will end on 30th December 2010 in New York. The dates for the other cities are also being announced and we have some in our hand. A group of Radio City Rockettes will perform on November 18th at Cedar Rapids. The prestigious Rockettes will be performing on Dec. 23-26 at the Rose Garden arena in Portland.
The Radio City Rockettes will also perform on November 12-28 at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) as a result of collaboration between PPAC and Radio City Christmas Spectacular to honor the Rhode Island service members. Another Radio City Rockettes tour will go live at Maverik Center, West Valley City from November 26-29.
