On this day the crowd at Jerusalem laid palm leaves at the lords feat and there by acquiring the name as Palm Sunday. The Holy Thursday or Maundy refers to the Last Supper which was held in the evening before the Crucifixion. The Good Friday is marked as the anniversary of the Crucifixion the day when Christ was crucified and died on the cross.


The ways of Easter celebration usually vary in different countries due to regional influences but the motive of all celebration is the same.
