Green tea oil has many uses, one of them being a skin care product that offers some amazing benefits, particularly to tired, slack skin. You are always best to use natural products on your skin, because many of the manufactured chemical ingredients in modern commercial skin care preparation can do more harm than good.

Many people wonder why natural products should be better than specially formulated commercial synthetics that you can find in your local store or pharmacy. One reason is that many commercial products contain harsh chemicals such as surfactants and preservatives that can dry up your skin and remove its natural protective oils. Green tea oil does neither of these things, but gently soothes tired skin without upsetting the balance of your natural skin oils.

Many synthetics contain detergents that are used in washing up liquids and washing powders: would you rub washing up liquid into your face? Would you cleanse your body with soap powder? Of course not, but this is effectively what you are doing when you use some of these commercial "skin care" products. And that's without even mentioning the preservatives yet!

The preservatives are used to keep the small amount of natural oils they contain fresh, yet real natural oils need no preservatives. Green tea oil is a pure natural product and does not need artificial preservatives to keep fresh. It doesn't go off on the tree, so it won't go of on your body! It is extracted from natural dried pure tea seeds.

Tea oil contains many beneficial substances, among them theanine, an amino acid that can rejuvenate and relax your skin, and caffeine that has the same effect. It is a therapeutic natural oil that has been used for untold centuries in ancient body preparations and for treating many types of aches and pains.

Just as caffeine boosts your brain every morning and gets you going, so it also gives a waken-up call to your skin, and make it look fresher and younger by tightening up any slackness and removing the small wrinkles, so giving your skin smoother and fresher appearance. Not only that, but if you read your papers you should know that caffeine is one of the most common antioxidants in the average Americans' diet.

Antioxidants? What are these? In fact they are very important chemicals that kill off the free radicals that cause your skin to age, and your body to look older than it really is. You can't get away from free radicals because they are created by pollutants such as tobacco smoke, industrial and traffic fumes and strong sunlight. Unless they are neutralized your skin will age prematurely: green tea oil does exactly that and helps your skin to look younger for longer.

Green tea oil is completely natural. If you read the labels of commercial cosmetic preparations in your local store you might see terms such as 'hydrogenated oils', 'surfactant' and 'sodium laurel (or laureth) sulfate'. All of these will dry out your skin, irritate it and can even cause allergic reactions.

Not so green tea oil, which is soothing and natural and will give your skin a lovely smooth healthy glow that no synthetic 'equivalent' ever could. Caring for your skin was never so luxuriously simple before you discovered green tea oil.
