I am a 1st time film maker from New York and just lately finished my 1st short film. When I did a screening for the cast everybody including the producer was overly excited about how the final version of the film had looked. They all pushed me to submit my film to some film festivals and wanted me to submit to some nearby film festivals as nicely. Throughout the submission process I observed that there was a film festival in Atlantic City that catered only to short films. They also had a wonderful panel of judges who I was also familiar with and would love to have them view my function.

I had submitted to about 5 festivals but the one I seriously wanted to get accepted to was the Atlantic City short film festival for the factors I had just stated as nicely as the entire cast were nearby and were ready to come down and help the film. Right after about a two month approach of calling all the festivals I started out receiving my acceptance letters to every one of the festivals but the Atlantic City short film festival. With that becoming mentioned I felt fairly very good about what had recently taken place with all my acceptance letters and I was prepared to move on.
All the others just sent me a letter and here he is Steve Stanulis, a properly respected actor and producer in the organization telling me how a lot he loved my function. The whole conversation was absolutely nothing but class and professionalism. When I let the cast know we had been accepted to the Atlantic City film festival we right away booked our rooms for the weekend at The Showboat casino where the event was going to be held. When we arrived at the festival we ran into Tracy James the other Cofounder of the festival and he introduced himself and congratulated me on the project as nicely once again nothing but class. A few of the actors in my film acknowledged Tracy James from a lot of the high profile modeling and acting he has completed in the acting and modeling globe.
When I arrived at the cocktail party I met Vic Colluchio who was 1 of the judges at the festival and also wrote 1 of my favorite movies of all time Summer time of Sam. He told me what a excellent honor it was to be selected to this festival and I really should be proud of my achievement as a first time filmmaker. The cocktail party had so many top business individuals there it was such a excellent networking opportunity for me as nicely as my actors. My film was picked to play on day two of the festival and when it finally screened the location was packed. What a wonderful honor to have all of the industry's top men and women not only view my film but give me fantastic feedback on my perform as well. The highlight of the event is when Vinny Pastore came up to me and told me he loved my film my father was never ever so proud of me. So I wanted to just thank the guys Steve Stanulis and Tracy James for throwing a top notch festival and giving me a night I will never ever forget. My next project is going to be a feature film and I just received word that the Atlantic City short film festival has now turn into the Atlantic City international festival and without a doubt will be submitting my feature film there in 2011.
