Russell Howard is one of the hottest comical stars in the UK at the moment, after four hit series of his topical television show Russell Howard’s Good News. The BBC hit simply involves him making fun of the latest news headlines in front of a live studio audience, featuring various clips from news broadcasts and Youtube video sensations.

The show is separated into categories such as Politics, Kids, Animals and more, and ends with a Good News style story, such as an inspirational individual raising money for charity or coping with a serious illness. With viewing figures of up to 3.5 million per week, it has become BBC3’s most successful studio programme. Russell’s success has continued to grow, as he has become a national favourite amongst men and women alike.

His first major national television experience was appearing as a regular panellist on Mock The Week, which he still continues to do alongside his own show, and in between appearances on Never Mind The Buzzcocks. He tours regularly across the country doing live stand up comedy shows to thousands of fans.

The major tour dates often take place at large arena style venues, in cities such as London, Cardiff, Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Liverpool, Newcastle, Belfast, Aberdeen and Glasgow. He performs at several warm up shows before his tour as well, taking place at smaller, intimate theatres where you can experience a more personal show in towns such as Reading, Aldershot, Cambridge, Swindon, Hereford, Harrow and Lincoln.

Russell Howard tickets can be purchased directly from the box office at the venues or via his official website. They are also on sale at a number of independent online ticket retailers, so it is a good idea to look at a few of these and compare prices. You can even get free tickets for his BBC television programme and appear in the studio audience itself. This is a great experience and gives you the chance to get your face on national television. You may even be lucky enough to be picked out by Russell to answer a question or appear on stage with him as part of the Mystery Guest act or another sketch.

At some of his national tour dates in the past, Russell has come out after the show to meet and greet fans in person, and sign autographs for them. Merchandise is often on sale including live tour DVDs, t-shirts, posters, badges, mugs, tote bags, key rings, hats, scarves and more, so is the ideal opportunity for any fan. Russell Howard tickets do tend to sell out very quickly so you should purchase them as soon as they go on sale if you don’t want to miss out. For certain cities, they have even been known to sell out within two hours of being released.
