A Western Theme Party With a Bang

This party idea looks backwards to the days of the wild west and when cowboys was a way of life. Still to do a party, any party justices invitations and party supplies will be needed to make it happen or it will fail. Both of these items go hand in hand when working on any party, but even more so for a party with a theme.

Sticking with the cowboys and cowgirls western theme party, be sure to start with the invitations and end it with the western party supplies. Initially, the invitations need to be right for this western theme. Overall a light brown color for the Western party invitations, then for design have either horseshoes or lassos. In fact both of them will work just fine being on the inside and on the outside cowboy boots would be idea.

While having mentioned in the invitation for the guest to come dressed wearing traditional attire one might wear on during the western expansion in the 1800's. Including such things as cowboy hats, boots, spurs, dresses and other clothing of the time. In the list of party supplies, include picking up some extra items for the guest who forgot or choose to provide such items for the kids. Add a few missing extras to the layout such as; horseshoes, saddle bags, saddles and lassos just to name a few.

Next on the party supplies list is going to be supplies to decorate the location in western design. A trip to the local hardware store is needed to buy lumber, nails, hinges and other supplies. With the lumber begin construction on two salon style swinging doors to be placed as the entry point. A banner or wooden sign above the doors saying salon or something western would be an excellent addition to the overall design. Temporary wall covering in the design of wood could top it all off.

The food for the party and the tableware which is also part of the party supplies. The menu is going to consist of; t-bone steaks, cornbread, baked beans, salad not usually found on western frontier and corn on the cob. In addition to this list for the adults, the kids will enjoy having the choice of hot dogs or macaroni and cheese for the dinner. One needs to look no further then to the desert that all will enjoy, fresh baked apple pies.
