At this point, you're excited. You're ready to move on. This is excellent, because now we're going to switch our mindsets. See, once we've achieved the desired weight we want, it's all about simple maintenance
from there on out and you're good to go. It's not as complicated as you would percieve it to be. With that said and out of the way, the real trick to this isn't so much that it's a trick, but It will give you little extra calories to consume per day. Once you have achieved your desired weight level, simply give yourself an additional 100-200 calories a day for your calorie budget. Keep doing this continuously and everyday monitor your weight extremely closely. You need to see how your body reacts to the extra calories. The beauty of this is that the majority of the time, your weight is not going to go up at this point because the extra 100-200 calories your body just eats up with daily activity (Yes, even if you are a couch potato, through out the day you still burn calories naturally).

Remember, if the extra calories per day is not effecting your weight at all, do not go above 200 calories more per day as this can start to cause you to retain your hard-worked for weight back. I would recommend you
starting off with 100 a day to start and see where that gets you. This is what I started off with and gradually worked to 200. This is where I sit currently. It's not as hard or difficult as you would think it is. It's really just
consistency and determination, because all of this is going to require some logging down of information. If you start to see any weight gain at all with the extra calories, don't worry about. Just don't consume the excessive 100-200 calories a day and you'll be fine!

Even if you just keep eating healthier choices of the foods you already know and love so well, you are already making a great transition for yourself to achieve ultimate success in weight loss. I've had a customer of mine decide to give up his long time love of chocolate, and decide to just focus on calorie counting, minor exercise, and portion sizing. This man lost 74 lbs. (Went from 285 down to just 211 In just 6

months of hard determination and perserverance.) He dropped from a size 46 to a size 34 and said that even though I didn't tell him to go diet, I told him to make the right choices for him and and work on a weight loss regime that works for him. This is what drove his success he told me. I've had another customer lose 20 lbs. In a month, just from calorie counting and portioning her meal sizes.

Yes, yes. We've finally arrived at the most monotonous and stagnant paragraph that every weight loss seeker has ran into more than 10,000 times in his entire quest for ultimate fitness. This isn't going to be your standard “Eat a healthy diet.” chapter. This more along the lines of more specifics. I'll show you what I mean: As if eating a proper diet wasn't common sense enough, I wanted to break down what it really meant for someone to eat 'proper' foods that will really enrich their bodies and keep the weight down and off of them for good. Bottom line you're going to want a variety of fruits and vegetables as both contains high doses of vitamins. Both are also rich in nutritients for your body. Moving on to the not so obvious: Protein.Yes. Protein plays a big factor in all of this. Too much (Such as Red Meats) can be really... contradicting to your cause let's say. To avoid such matters, stick to lean proteins like beans, and fish and chicken.

Those are much healthier selections, and will give you what you need Don't just consume empty carbohydrates either (A LOT of white foods are like this). Eating a lot of whole weat and whole grain foods is great for your digestive system as well as body. Rices and Breads are a great place to start looking for these kinds of foods. Avoid highly fatty foods like the plague. Dun dun dun! I'm not out to makethe stereotypical avoid all fatty foods. Definitely stay away from the excessively greasy and high fat foods. I'm not going to lie to you, Dieting itself seems horrible at times, but if you have the right mindset, it is such aneffective way of weight loss. I know that everytime you think of a diet you cringe, but there is so muchsubstituion for delicious and super unhealthy foods into healthy foods that are more appropriate it eat. You don't heve to completely deprive yourself of all that you love. It's okay to have consisency in your diet. You just got to make sure you're eating proper.
