Fans everywhere are looking forward to the release of New Moon in theaters. One thing that fans will be doing to celebrate by having Twilight Themed parties. However, planning a party has its pitfalls. You can run out of food, have rowdier than normal guest, party crashers, or even not get the venue for your party ready on time. Each of these is just one of the many problems that can mess up a great party. So how can you prevent some of these problems from happening? A good plan and some preparation can minimize or completely avoid them. Here are some helpful suggestions to help you do just that.

It is a good idea to plan as if you have extra guests. This is important because if you assume that only a certain amount of people are coming and it ends up being more than you expected, you would wind up unprepared and facing a predicament. Make sure to have extra of all your party dinner ware and favors so that you can meet unexpected guest and still keep your Twilight party going.

If you think that you might have some rowdy guests who will make things difficult it makes sense to either higher bouncers or some form of security or ask some good friends who know how to handle themselves to help out. If you have the event at your home you can ask for the cooperation of your neighbors to help keep things from getting out hand. In the end it will be easier for you to put an end to any craziness at your party if you have help rather than doing it alone.

Pick your location wisely. Your parent's house filled with valuable and delicate items may not be the best place unless it is a really small event with just a few of your closest friends. If it is going to be a much bigger party then it makes sense to rent out a place such as the local community center or the clubhouse of your suburb or apartment if you have one. Another potential problem is that the place you rented may have a busted pipe or may be double booked. Have a back up place on hold just in case. You never know when you might need it.

Something else to watch out for is the entertainment not living up to expectations. Try to liven up things with games. It may also be a lack of music due to the fact that the DJ or Band you hired doesn't show up. The good news is that you have backups that you can go to such as your IPod. If you have some of your favorite songs from Twilight and other party songs and a dock with a good sound system you can be your own DJ.

Also make sure to go over all the details for your party. Make sure that you go over everything you need to set up for your event whether it is food, decorations, ice for drinks, or any other item on your to do list. It may also help to have a friend or two that will help to follow through and make sure that you did not miss anything. This will help make sure that you prevent any potential screw ups later on.
