3 Things That Will Help You Have Acne-Free Face

Acne is one of the most common problems for most people. A lot of us are continuously looking for ways to deal with it, which is why we often see advertisements that are promising to get rid of your acne within a few days. Unfortunately, there is no shortcut when treating acne. You need to deal with it slowly but surely. Here are the three things that you need to remember if you want to have an acne-free skin:

1.) Once we develop acne, we tend to think about how we can get rid of it. We think about all the things that can be done just to remove it from our face. Did you know that stress is the number one cause of acne? Yes, and the more you think about that cute pimple of yours, the more stressed you become and the more acne you get. What you need to do is to stop thinking about it, and let it enjoy its last days on your face.

2.) Our parents kept on telling us, our dermatologist kept telling us, even our friends kept telling us; never squeeze our pimple. I don’t know why despite all the warnings, there are still a lot of people who can get enough of their pimple and try to squeeze the “goo” out of it. Squeezing your pimple can cause irritation and acne scars. Aside from these things, you are also helping your acne to develop because the dirt and bacteria that are in your hands goes straight to your face as soon as you squeeze your pimple.


3.) Wash your face every day and night. My rule is to wash your face once every morning and twice before sleeping. Once every morning to remove excess oil that was developed while you were sleeping, and twice every night to thoroughly cleanse your face that was polluted all throughout the day.
