A group of Coventry University graduates have set up a community based website (Ind-E-Focus) for arts students and professionals.

After having struggled to develop their own projects and bridge the large gap between student life and the professional world, Fortune Frames Ltd, a Coventry based independent film company, decided that it was time that local student talent had an organised, resource community platform where their artistic flair could be introduced to an international audience.

‘We felt that the current resources on the web were either too hard to find, too exclusive, or too expensive. So we decided to do something about it!'

If you are studying or working in; Media, Dance, Theatre, Photography, Visual Arts, Fine Art or Music then this is definitely the place for you!

Ind-E-Focus is managed by its members. Every member can submit news (for moderation), create a profile and upload work, join discussions on the message boards and connect with other independent artists. Ind-E-Focus aims to:

• Create a large professional network to discuss, develop and collaborate with.
• Access a large database of resources.
• Promote and advertise their projects and companies in front page articles.

What's the catch? Well... you are encouraged, nay forced to shamelessly self advertise yourself and your projects to an international network of arts students and professionals completely free of charge...
