Ahhhh! SUMMERTIME.
Summertime means a lot of extraordinary things to a lot of men and women…the sun is brilliant and shining magnificently, school's out for the youngsters, the pool is ready and waiting, and finally… the BBQ's fired up and ready to grill!
But, before you throw your next shrimp, steak or veggie on the barbeque, be sure to comply with these sure-fire safety suggestions:
Make your Natural Gas Barbecue SAFE!

  • Inspect your barbeque for rust or loose fittings, and fix both as soon as possible!
  • Verify for gas leaks by turning your natural gas supply on, rubbing your barbeque gas hose with soapy water to look for bubbles (if you suspect a leak, don’t procrastinate, play it safe and buy a new one).
  • Refer to the owner’s manual that came with your BBQ for specific instructions and maintenance suggestions.
    Keep Yourselves and Others SAFE!
  • Follow the manufacturer’s suggestions when figuring out the right location to set up your natural gas barbecue
  • Light your BBQ with the lid open. Natural gas can accumulate under the lid and cause extreme burns and/or injury.

  • If it doesn't ignite on the first try, turn the burner off and wait for the gas to disperse, then try again...
  • Use long-handled barbecue tools and heat proof mitts.
  • Keep water handy in case of flare-ups that get out of hand.
  • Keep young children and dogs and cats away from a lit barbeque.
  • Don't wear baggy or flowing clothing when you barbecue.

DID YOU KNOW????
That at less than 1/3 of the cost of propane, and with an infinite supply of fuel, nothing beats cooking with a natural gas barbecue.
