Process for creating articles on tv episodes

All articles on tv must meet notability guidelines, which report that:

A subject is presumed for being notable when it has received significant coverage in reliable sources which can be independent of the subject.

You have to bear this in your mind when creating articles, which is likely that many individual episode of an television series will never be notable by itself, simply because there are too few secondary sources available. Manual of Style (writing fiction) explains further:

When a write-up is made, the subject's real-world notability needs to be established based on the general notability guideline by including independent reliable secondary sources this may also ensure that there's enough source material to the article for being comprehensive and factually accurate.

While each episode alone might not are eligble for a piece of writing, it is most probably that sources can be found to support a series or season page, where all of the episodes in a single season (or series) are presented using one page. (See examples listed below). Such pages must still be notable, and contain out-of-universe context, and never merely be a listing of episode titles or cast and crew: isn't a directory.

In time, many times that some episodes or story-arcs have sufficient real-world information to warrant their own individual article. This episode could be broken out into its own page.

Process

* Create page with the television PROGRAM.

Once there's enough verifiable information in addition to the express, then:

* Generate a page for each and every series/season, or even a "Listing of episodes" page with every season/series.

Only if you have enough verifiable information from secondary sources about individual episodes, then:

* Create pages for outstanding episodes

Remember that it is a simple guildeline. You are able to select or without one.
