Facts About Men’s Skin Care Products

Being a man does not excuse you for not taking good care of your skin. In fact, you should be more concern for your skin because you are more prone to skin problems.
Research shows that 2 % of men are having melanoma every year. Melanoma is a form of skin cancer that can be deadly if left untreated. But it is curable and 100% reversible if you treat it immediately.
This is one of the reasons why plenty of men’s skin care products are sprouting from here and there. However, almost all of them can provide good skin results but only few of them are concerned with the health of your skin. Of course, in choosing skin care for men, you should settle on what causes good skin results and what are also healthy.
Skin care products with chemicals and substances like alcohols, parabens, mineral oil and uric acids can definitely give you a good result. However, these results can be deceiving. They will provide you soft, smooth, and young looking skin at first but will leave your skin dry, and damaged. These chemicals are too harsh to be used on a regular basis. And some of them can even be damaging to your health.
Men’s skin care products should have natural ingredients instead. Just like the typical creams and gels for women, men’s products should also be loaded with healthy plants and fruits extracts. I am not saying that these ingredients will work for everybody. Some people are hypersensitive and can be allergic to herbs and other plant extracts. But the effects are mild and tolerable compared to synthetic products.
The most common natural ingredients used in men’s creams and gels are Cynergy TK™ and active Manuka honey. These ingredients are both from New Zealand.
Cynergy TK™ is obtained from sheep wool’s extract while active Manuka honey is a specialized honey. They are both useful in synthesizing and stimulating the body to produce natural collagen. Both of these substances can be found in men’s skin care formulas.
