Modern photographers need to be multiskilled -able not only to visualize a photograph, but also capable of handling the computer resources required to make the most of the resulting images. The remarkable fact is that, for a relatively modest outlay, anyone can produce professional-looking brochures, booklets, posters, and Web sites, provided you have the extra software.
Protection
- it does not take long for your computer contents to represent a considerable investment in money, time, and effort - one worth protecting from computer viruses. Windows PC users are vulnerable if they surf the Net or share files with other PC users. While Mac viruses are not as destructive, they can still cause lost time. All computers should have virus-protection software. Other software to monitor the state of the hard-disk or aid file recovery after a crash or other problem can also be useful.
