REVIEW - "What's In A Word? VocabWiz SAT Lite Tells You"

Here is another flashcard-based app meant to better the user's brain. This time, the user in mind is the student facing the SATs. TestPrepWiz makes several apps to help users prepare for tests and VocabWiz SAT Lite presents students with over 200 vocabulary words.

VocabWiz SAT Lite presents the user with a word and definition along with the proper usage and pronunciation. These extra "layers" of information put this app at a level above other vocabulary preparatory apps, or even paper flashcards. Users can even set the app on "play" mode and just listen as the flashcards flip through themselves, with the speaker narrating along the way.

Like many flashcard apps or test prep apps, this one has a quiz mode for users to test their knowledge. VocabWiz SAT Lite has an easy to use quiz and users can choose to eliminate words from their study list of flashcards should they know the definition.

Users can actually choose to leave words out of the flashcards they view before they start. A list of all the vocabulary used in the app can be used for a quick review, or to add or remove words from the study list. This feature makes VocabWiz SAT Lite customizable to the user and therefore makes the app very useful.

Navigating around VocabWiz SAT Lite is smooth and easy. No explanation is needed to get the full use out of the app.

There is a full, paid version of VocabWiz SAT but the free version provides such a wide and useful variety of words, students will be able to get quite a lot out of the lite version alone.
