Acne is not curable, it is treatable. There are several different kinds of
pills to treat it from antibiotics to birth control pills. Acne is caused
from something happening internally in your body, it makes sense to take
something orally to systematically treat the its source.

There are a number of supplements and vitamins that help treat acne. Some of
these include Zinc, vitamin E, B complex vitamins and vitamin A. Vitamin E
and B complex vitamins have antioxidants to ward off acne.
Zinc acts like an
antibiotic and fights bacteria from it. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin at the
cellular level. Birth control pills often help control acne.
It is caused due
to over stimulated sebaceous glands by androgens the male hormones. Progesterone
found in birth control pills blocks the production of androgen in women.
This decreases the incidence of breakouts.

Dermatologists often use antibiotics to treat it. They attack the bacteria in
the clogged pores. This decrease the inflammatory reaction and decrease the
amount of fatty acids found in oil glands. Two of the most commonly prescribed
antibiotics are Tetracycline and Doxycycline. Accutane is an acne treatment
pill used to treat severe cystic acne.

It is used as a last resort when other treatments have failed. This is deeper
and more severe than common acne. Accutane is considered a strong retinoid drug.
It is related to vitamin A.
It can have side effects such as hair loss. It cannot be taken by pregnant
women because it causes birth defects.
These are the commonly prescribed and natural acne pill treatments.
They are all used to treat acne in various cases.
