He was the greatest of the Mughal emperor and one of the most secular minded royalties of his time. The Itmad-ud-daulah tomb is situated on the bank of River Yamuna, the distance from Taj Mahal is 3 kms. The Itmad-ud-daulah was built in 1622 - 1625 AD by Empress Noorjehan for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. The other famous Mughal architecture, Fatehpur Sikri is just about 32 kms far from Agra.
