The damage occurred a few months ago during the October Hail Storm. Not only was the path of the storm enormous, but it went right through the most populated areas of Phoenix. Rarely do you have a storm this size hit a densely populated area. <br /> Insurance Companies have been estimating the damage from the beginning of the storm and the number seems to keep climbing. Initially there were estimates of around 70,000 homes were damaged. It wasn’t long into the repairs that the estimates jumped up to 150,000 homes would file a claim. Now some people are estimating anywhere from 300,000 claims to 500,000.<br /> One adjust said that even this far after the storm has hit, only 30% of their companies customers have filled claims.
